Mario Andretti needs no introduction. Like A.J. Foyt or Richard Petty, his name is synonymous around the motorsports world.

Andretti has competed and won in several different types of auto racing, including stock cars, Indy cars, sports cars, drag racing cars and sprint cars. During his racing career, Andretti won four IndyCar Series titles, the 1978 Formula One World Championship and the International Race of Champions title in 1978-1979.

To date, Andretti remains the only driver to win the Indianapolis 500 (1969), NASCAR’s Daytona 500 (1967) and the Formula One World Championship. In April 1993, he also became the first driver to win IndyCar Series races in four decades and the first win races in five decades.
