In 2005, Travis Kvapil will replaced Brendan Gaughan as driver of the No. 77 Kodak Dodge in the NEXTEL Cup Series where he finished with two top-10 finishes.
Kvapil joined Bang! Racing in 2004 to drive the No. 24 Line-X Toyota Craftsman Truck. He won two NCTS races, including the first for Toyota at Michigan International Speedway. That season Kvapil also qualified fifth in his first Nextel Cup race at Martinsville Speedway in October driving in his first race for Roger Penske.
Kvapil came from third to first in the points standings in the final race in 2003 to win the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship title. That season he completed all but one lap, capturing one win, 13 top-five and 22 top-10 finishes.
In 2001, Kvapil won his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race and finished fourth in points standings, He also won the Raybestos Rookie of the Year.
Born on March 1, 1976, in Janesville, Wisconsin, Travis now lives with his wife and children in Mooresville, North Carolina.
